Along national highways 4C, 34, and DT176, the kapok flowers have bloomed brilliantly, adorning the landscape of Ha Giang , captivating tourists and bringing a sense of peace to the heart.

The kapok flowers in Ha Giang grow naturally. They are scattered along the roadside, clinging to cliffs, or neatly arranged in rows along the river.

International tourists take boat trips on the Nho Que River during the kapok flower season.

This flower is strange; you won't see a single green leaf. On the rough branches, the kapok flowers bloom in vibrant red, like sparks of fire on a giant candlestick.

In the cool weather of Ha Giang in late spring, there's nothing more delightful than riding a motorbike, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying every cool breeze.

Dubbed one of the most beautiful roads in Ha Giang, the DT176 road from Du Gia through Mau Due is also home to the most kapok flowers. From the high pass, visitors can freely gaze out and enjoy the peaceful scenery below in the valley with its scattered rice fields and villages.

Returning to Ha Giang four years after her first visit to this beautiful land, Thanh Thao still retains the same feelings for every rock and every road.

"After graduating, I felt like I was being swept into a whirlwind of work and relationships, and sometimes I felt overwhelmed."

"But this trip to Ha Giang has given me more positive energy. For me, Ha Giang is still as beautiful and majestic as the first time I visited. I really love the kapok flowers along the roads in Du Gia (Yen Minh district) and Vi Xuyen; these flowers bring a feeling of peace and familiarity, like being in my birthplace," Thao shared.

The peaceful kapok flowers by the river at the foot of the pass are like a miraculous remedy, healing wounded souls.

Choosing Ha Giang as the location for his graduation photoshoot, final-year photography student Pham Viet Cuong was deeply impressed by the vibrant flower season in March.

"Down in the lowlands, you only see one or two kapok trees at the edge of the village, but it's different in Ha Giang. I traveled along the Gam River, then through Bac Me, Meo Vac, and Dong Van. Everywhere I went, I saw kapok flowers, some with buds, others in full bloom."

"The rows of kapok trees along the Nho Que River are what impressed me the most, because the red and orange colors of the flowers stand out against the turquoise waters of the Nho Que River, creating an incredibly peaceful and romantic scene," Cuong confided.
