Remember in 2024, with the theme "Light up with Wonders", Ha Long Carnival was held at Ocean Park Beach, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, leaving a strong, unforgettable impression on people and tourists. For the first time, the festival had live art performances and carnivals on the sea, on the sand, with high artistic elements. The special art program with the participation of many famous domestic and international singers and artists. In particular, one of the highlights of Ha Long Carnival 2024 is the use of Drone light technology with the participation of thousands of drones arranged in formation and combined with modern 3D mapping technology to depict the typical symbols of Ha Long - Quang Ninh .
With the unexpected success of the Ha Long Carnival 2024, it has contributed to attracting tourists to Quang Ninh - Ha Long. The proof is that during the April 30 and May 1, 2024 holidays, Quang Ninh welcomed over 1 million visitors. Of which, international visitors reached over 100,000. Total tourism revenue reached over 2,210 billion VND.
Following the success of Ha Long Carnival in previous years, Quang Ninh - Ha Long is urgently preparing carefully and thoroughly in all aspects, especially the content, script, and art program for the important street festival that will take place at 8:00 p.m. on May 1, 2025 at Sun Carnival Square and Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City.
With the theme: "Ha Long Carnival 2025 - Connecting heritage, pioneering the shine", the program consists of 4 parts: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnival grand ball; DJ performance; high-altitude fireworks display. This year's festival has many different highlights: Converging intangible heritages from all 3 regions, honoring national identity on the background of world natural wonders combined with modern technologies such as: 3D mapping, laser, light show. In particular, the art program has the participation of thousands of actors, professional artists, international art troupes, and artisans.
In order to best serve the people and tourists enjoying the Ha Long Carnival 2025, Ha Long City directed the construction unit to design and build the largest capacity grandstand ever with a total of 15,000 seats, an increase of 5,000 seats compared to 2024.
To ensure that the Ha Long Carnival 2025 takes place successfully, safely and impressively, all work related to security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, healthcare, preserving the tourism business environment, ensuring stable power supply, telecommunications coverage, etc., is coordinated by the Organizing Committee with relevant agencies and units to develop detailed and specific plans and scenarios.
Up to now, all preparations for the Ha Long Carnival 2025 are basically following the plan and script.
