The "Annual Rural Fair – Cashless Payment" features 18 stalls from women's associations in the commune; women's unions in neighboring localities; and businesses... showcasing and introducing clean agricultural products produced by women's association members; OCOP-certified products from the locality; and local culinary specialties.
The fair attracted a large number of members and local people to exchange and buy goods, aiming to widely promote local agricultural products in the market. A special feature of this rural fair organized by the Women's Union of Cam Thuy commune is the preference for cashless payments.
Specifically, at each booth, female officials and members guided people and visitors on how to make cashless payments via QR codes, e-wallets, etc. This created opportunities for women and a large number of people to access the conveniences of digital transformation, gradually forming a habit of not using cash in shopping activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, from Cam Vu 1 village, Cam Thuy commune, excitedly said: “I’ve heard a lot about cashless payments, but today, experiencing it myself, I realize how fast, convenient, and secure this method is. Now, wherever I go, I just need to bring my mobile phone.”
