Leveraging its central and core role, the Hanoi City Farmers' Association not only focuses on models and activities for building the homeland, but also proactively expands its scope of comprehensive cooperation with Farmers' Associations in provinces and cities nationwide.
These steps towards inter-regional connectivity have been creating a powerful new impetus, promoting sustainable agricultural development.

Inter-regional connectivity - creating opportunities for strong development.
Over the years, thanks to timely support mechanisms and policies encouraging the application of mechanization and technological advancements, Hanoi has successfully built nearly 300 high-tech agricultural production models and 149 vertical linkage chains from production to consumption; the value of agricultural products bearing the identity of the Capital city is increasingly affirmed with 2,167 OCOP products recognized for their quality.
Recognizing the importance of regional linkages, the Hanoi City Farmers' Association has proactively promoted cooperation with the Farmers' Associations of other provinces and cities. A prime example is the visit of a delegation from the Hanoi City Farmers' Association in late June 2026, comprising over 60 leaders, officials, and chairpersons of the Farmers' Associations of communes and wards, led by the Chairman of the Hanoi City Farmers' Association, Pham Hai Hoa. This delegation conducted a working visit and field survey in Thanh Hoa province.

During the meeting, leaders of the Farmers' Associations of the two localities discussed and shared experiences on building the Association's organization, developing the collective economy, managing the Farmers' Support Fund, promoting the application of digital transformation, and trade promotion.
According to Nguyen Quoc Tien, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Farmers' Association: In recent years, the provincial Farmers' Association at all levels has actively implemented many solutions to support the private economy, paving the way for members to get rich; building economic models, transferring science and technology, supporting access to capital, developing the collective economy; promoting trade and promoting digital transformation in agriculture. The entire province has built clean agricultural product chains from more than 2,200 economic development models…, contributing to increasing farmers' income.
One of the highlights is the continued strong spread of the Thanh Hoa Farmers' Emulation Movement for Excellent Production and Business. During the 2020-2025 period, on average, more than 220,000 households across the province registered to participate each year, with 70,000-75,000 households achieving the title of excellent producers and business operators at various levels. In addition, the Farmers' Associations at all levels directly supported the establishment of 132 agricultural cooperatives and maintained over 500 cooperative groups; effectively managing credit funds with a total outstanding loan balance of over 16,752 billion VND, creating conditions for tens of thousands of farmers to expand production and develop their economy.
By promoting digital transformation, Thanh Hoa province has over 395,000 farmer members participating in the use of the Vietnam Farmers Digital Platform and the Thanh Hoa Farmers Mini App, contributing to the gradual formation of digital operating methods within the Farmers' Association.

Chairman of the Hanoi City Farmers' Association, Pham Hai Hoa, highly appreciated the achievements of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Farmers' Association in recent times, especially the effective methods in developing the collective economy, building the Farmers' Support Fund, and implementing digital transformation. He also expressed his hope that the Farmers' Associations of the two localities would continue to strengthen exchanges, share experiences, and expand cooperation programs in a practical and effective manner, contributing to increasing income and improving the material and spiritual lives of members and farmers.
Through this cooperation agreement, the Hanoi City Farmers' Association and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Farmers' Association have agreed to strengthen coordination, organize exchange activities and learn from each other's experiences; promote supply and demand connections, and advertise and sell agricultural products and OCOP products from Hanoi and Thanh Hoa, contributing to expanding the market for local agricultural products.
"The Association aims to bring typical agricultural products and safe OCOP products from Thanh Hoa to a wider audience in trading sessions and product showrooms in the capital city, and vice versa," said Nguyen Quoc Tien, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Farmers' Association.
The delegation from the Hanoi City Farmers' Association also visited the grape cultivation and experiential tourism model of Mr. Hoang Thanh Minh, Chairman of the Dong Tien Commune Farmers' Association (Thanh Hoa province). Mr. Minh's model, which applies scientific and technological advancements to production, has initially yielded high economic efficiency, opening up a new direction in agricultural development in the locality. They also visited and surveyed several typical agricultural economic development models in Thanh Hoa province, directly learning about high-tech production models, collective economic models, and production linked to processing and product consumption…
Building a sustainable future
Through long-term cooperation programs between Hanoi and other provinces and cities, the space for economic linkages is expanding, opening up new avenues to encourage cooperatives and businesses to strengthen horizontal and vertical linkages and participate more deeply in global value chains.

According to Pham Hai Hoa, Chairman of the Hanoi City Farmers' Association, the Association has proactively developed a plan and directly signed a cooperation program with 33 provinces and cities in the 2019-2023 period, and will continue to expand to 36 provinces and cities in the 2024-2028 period. This aims to affirm a long-term, systematic approach, maximizing the comparative advantages of each locality and jointly creating sustainable added value for the agricultural and rural sectors.
One of the most important pillars of inter-provincial cooperation programs is the sharing of experiences in building strong Farmers' Association organizations; managing and operating loan funds, expanding production scale, etc. The Hanoi City Farmers' Association, together with the Farmers' Associations of partner provinces and cities, has organized many working groups to survey and directly share models of operating professional Farmers' Support Funds and applying optimal digital transformation solutions.

The cooperation between the Hanoi City Farmers' Association and local authorities aims at a profound goal: overcoming fragmented and small-scale production by promoting the development of collective economies and new-style cooperatives. Clubs such as "Millionaire Farmers" and "Skilled Farmers in Production and Business" have truly played a leading role, becoming centers for exchange, consultation, and transfer of high-tech application models.
The most practical benefit that farmers have gained from these cooperation programs is the facilitation of the flow of agricultural products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products into the market. Connecting markets between a major consumption center with high purchasing power like Hanoi and localities with abundant and high-quality agricultural products such as Thanh Hoa, Son La, and Lam Dong... has brought double benefits to both producers and consumers.
The Hanoi City Farmers' Association has also proactively acted as a bridge, coordinating and organizing a series of agricultural product trading sessions, trade promotion fairs, and establishing points for introducing and selling safe agricultural products... Through these cooperation programs, regional specialties and safe agricultural products from various localities have direct access to modern distribution networks and consumers in the capital city. Conversely, high-tech agricultural products from Hanoi have also found wide distribution channels in other provinces.
It can be affirmed that the proactive expansion of the Hanoi City Farmers' Association's collaborative efforts have created a solid foundation, helping agriculture in the capital and neighboring provinces to develop in unison.
