Tien Giang Provincial Farmers' Association: Launching a tree planting campaign.

(ABO) On the morning of April 22nd, in Long An commune (Chau Thanh district), the Tien Giang Provincial Farmers' Association organized a tree planting ceremony in response to the "Planting One Billion Green Trees" program and the "Each Cadre and Member of the Farmers' Association Plants One Green Tree" program, in commemoration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

At the ceremony, the Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong, launched a campaign, calling on all levels of the Association to strengthen propaganda and education on the purpose and significance of planting trees; actively implement the planting, protection, and care of trees to protect the ecological environment and develop green, clean, and beautiful rural areas; effectively carry out social welfare work; and wholeheartedly work together to build new rural areas in Tien Giang province in the coming time.

Inspired by the teachings of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, every year, cadres and members of farmers' associations in the province enthusiastically participate in tree planting campaigns, creating green roads and flower-filled paths to bring fresh air, contributing to the construction of new rural areas, and gradually achieving success in the "Planting One Billion Trees" program.

Following the launching ceremony, officials and members of the Farmers' Association at all levels in the province participated in planting trees along Huynh Van Bay road, Long Thoi hamlet, Long An commune, Chau Thanh district.
