Hojlund has lost his goal-scoring touch.

Rasmus Hojlund continues his goalless streak for Napoli, which has lasted for the past two months.

On December 4th, Hojlund was brought on as a substitute when Napoli struggled against the weaker Cagliari in the Coppa Italia round of 16. However, the Danish striker once again failed to shine. In the 22 minutes he played after coming on as a substitute, Hojlund couldn't make a difference.

Napoli were fortunate to overcome their opponents on penalties, after the two teams drew 1-1 in regular time. The reigning Serie A champions are regaining their form after a period of inconsistency, with four consecutive wins in all competitions.

However, Hojlund himself has no reason to be happy. The last time the Danish striker scored for Napoli was at the beginning of October. In the past two months, Hojlund has gone eight consecutive matches without finding the net, including six games in which he started.

After an impressive start with 5 goals in his first 6 games for Napoli, Hojlund's form has noticeably declined in recent weeks. Hojlund suffered a minor injury after the 3-1 victory against Atalanta in Serie A on November 22nd.

From being a great hope in attack, the Danish striker gradually lost his confidence and his ability to create breakthroughs.
