The health departments reported that on May 25.5, 265 patients were declared cured, with no deaths due to Covid-19. Since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 10,637 million cases of Covid-19 in Vietnam have been cured.
At the treatment facilities, there are 50 patients who are breathing oxygen. In which, 41 cases of oxygen breathing through a mask, 6 cases of HFNC high-flow oxygen, 1 case of non-invasive mechanical ventilation and 2 severe cases required invasive mechanical ventilation.
The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam since the beginning of the epidemic is 43.206 cases, accounting for 0,4% of the total number of infections. The total number of deaths in our country ranks 26 out of 231 countries and territories; The number of deaths per million people ranked 141 out of 231 countries and territories.
Compared to Asia, the total number of deaths in Vietnam ranks 7th out of 50 countries and territories; The number of deaths per million people ranked 29th out of 50 countries and territories.
Regarding the progress of vaccination against Covid-19, the Ministry of Health said that on May 25.5, 1.961 more doses were injected. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign to date, more than 266,4 million doses have been administered to people across the country.
Of which, nearly 223,736 million doses were given to people aged 18 years and older, nearly 24 million doses were given to children aged 12-17 years old and more than 18,7 million doses were given to children aged 5-11 years old.
