The total funding for this activity reached over 148.7 billion VND, of which over 70 billion VND came from grassroots trade unions, nearly 61 billion VND from enterprise and social contributions, and the remainder from the budget of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and local labor federations and industry trade unions.

Compared to 2024, although the number of grassroots trade unions organizing meals decreased, the average value per meal reached 68,500 VND, significantly higher than the 50,300 VND of the previous year. This shows that the quality of meals and the attention of businesses and trade unions to workers are increasingly improving.
This year's "Trade Union Meal" focuses on workers directly involved in production at industrial zones, factories, and enterprises with large workforces and collective canteens. Many grassroots trade unions have proactively negotiated and engaged in dialogue with employers to mobilize additional resources, clearly demonstrating their role in representing and genuinely caring for their members.
In many businesses, the "Trade Union Meal" has become an opportunity for employees and management to share their thoughts and propose solutions to improve working conditions, thereby contributing to strengthening harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
Some localities and sectors have large-scale organizations such as: Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Union with 508 grassroots trade unions and over 253,000 beneficiaries; Ho Chi Minh City with 416 grassroots trade unions and over 223,000 beneficiaries; Hai Phong with 295 grassroots trade unions and over 172,000 beneficiaries; and Dong Nai with 126 grassroots trade unions and over 143,000 beneficiaries.
Several units excelled in mobilizing social resources, such as the Vietnam Banking Union (over 8.4 billion VND), the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Union (nearly 6.7 billion VND), and the Coal and Mineral Workers' Union (over 5 billion VND).
Besides the main activity of organizing meals, many grassroots trade unions also integrate cultural and spiritual activities, such as giving gifts to disadvantaged members, giving mooncakes, celebrating birthdays, awarding "Trade Union Shelters"; organizing cultural and sports activities, folk games... creating a joyful and united atmosphere.

Some innovative companies organize meals right on the construction site, in the camp, or combine it with a vacation at a tourist resort, so that workers can relax after a stressful work period.
Thus, from a routine welfare activity, the "Trade Union Meal" is gradually becoming a symbol of sharing and humanism in modern labor relations, reflecting the mission of the Trade Union organization to accompany workers. These simple but meaningful meals are contributing to nurturing trust, fostering a spirit of commitment, and promoting labor and production competition for the sustainable development of businesses and the country.
