According to the Ministry of Education and Training, 1,046,156 out of 1,050,224 registered candidates took the high school graduation exam in mathematics this afternoon, achieving a participation rate of 99.61%. 4,068 candidates did not attend the exam.
This afternoon, candidates completed the mathematics exam in the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In this exam session, there were 3 candidates who violated the regulations, including 2 who were suspended from the exam and 1 who received a reprimand (in 2023, 4 candidates were suspended from the math exam).
The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that the mathematics exam took place safely, orderly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
Tomorrow morning, June 28th, candidates will continue taking the combined science exams (physics, chemistry, biology) and social science exams (history, geography, civics ) starting at 7:35 AM, with 50 minutes allocated for each subject.
The 2024 high school graduation math exam was only easier than the 2018 exam!
According to regulations, candidates can choose one of the two aforementioned combined subject tests. Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training show that the number of candidates choosing the social science test overwhelmingly outweighs those choosing the natural science test.
Specifically this year, only 37% of candidates chose the natural science exam, while the remaining 63% chose the social science exam.
This year's high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 registered candidates nationwide (an increase of over 45,000 candidates compared to 2023).
Candidates took the exam at 2,323 testing locations (an increase of 51 locations compared to 2023) with 45,149 examination rooms. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, by the end of yesterday afternoon's registration period, 1,060,356 candidates nationwide had completed the registration process, reaching a rate of 98.96%.
