On October 13th, the semi-finals of the Global Vietnamese Singing Contest took place at the Cat Tuong stage in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring impressive performances from the 30 best contestants.
The Vietnamese Voice Global 2024 competition has been receiving great public attention, thanks to the presence of many famous names in the art world on the judging panel, including singers Siu Black, Trang Nhung, Ho Quang Tam, Sy Luan, journalist Ngo Ba Luc, and musician-singer Duong Truong Giang... Notably, the competition also features a special guest judge - Ms. Bui Thanh Huong - Director of the Green Journey Foundation.
The judges evaluated each performance of the 30 contestants competing in the semi-final round with fairness, objectivity, and professionalism.
Mr. Henry Nguyen, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared: “ All 30 semi-finalists are 30 talented singers. Each has their own unique style and personality. In particular, the contestants were very meticulous and invested carefully in their performances. The Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel greatly appreciate this .”
According to the head of the organizing committee, the Global Voice of Vietnam competition not only seeks outstanding vocal talents but also provides a platform for contestants to showcase their musical personality, stage presence, and especially their passion for art.
Each contestant delivered impressive performances, not only through their singing but also through their expressions and stage presence. Many promising young talents showcased their artistic potential, proving that they can absolutely shine on big stages in the future.
Following the semi-final round, the 22 best contestants were selected to advance to the online voting round. This is an opportunity for the audience to directly participate in deciding which outstanding vocalists will continue to compete in the final round.
Over two seasons, The Voice Vietnam Global has demonstrated that it not only attracts the attention of contestants and audiences domestically, but also internationally, and is not just a music competition but also a bridge connecting the Vietnamese community worldwide.
For the 2024 season, the competition will not only take place in Vietnam but will also expand its recruitment to European countries, notably Germany and Norway. The international final gala is scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany on November 2nd, promising to be an explosive and meaningful event.
In Vietnam, the grand finale is scheduled to be held on December 21st, offering musical talents the opportunity to shine and conquer new heights in their artistic journey, a perfect ending to the emotional musical journey of the contestants of The Voice Vietnam Global 2024.
