(GLO)- According to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province (the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam), on the afternoon of June 29, the whole province had 38 candidates absent from the Foreign Language exam.

This is also the final exam of the 2023 high school graduation exam.

All 38 absent candidates were concentrated in English. There were 13,807 out of 13,845 candidates taking the English exam. For the remaining foreign languages, all candidates participated in the exam, including 17 candidates for Chinese, 2 candidates for Japanese and 3 candidates for Korean. Among the 38 absent candidates, there were 10 ethnic minority candidates.

According to the above report, on the afternoon of June 29, all officers, teachers and staff at 41 examination sites were present to conduct the examination. The examination took place normally, the examination was carried out in accordance with regulations, and no invigilators or candidates violated the examination regulations.
