DIVERSIFYING FORMS OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLY

Under the new organizational model, the work of the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations in Tan Dien commune has undergone many innovations and made great efforts, contributing positively to maintaining political stability, creating momentum for socio-economic development, and consolidating the great national unity.

Farmers in Tan Dien commune are applying scientific and technological advancements in agricultural production.

Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune quickly stabilized its organization and streamlined the Front's working committees in all 11 hamlets to ensure continuity in its activities.

Identifying its core task as disseminating information and mobilizing all segments of the population to create social consensus and build close relationships between the Party, the State, and the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has used diverse forms of propaganda, from integrated group meetings to radio broadcasts and social media platforms such as Zalo, Facebook, and Fanpages, attracting over 10,000 interactions.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, building on the foundation already achieved, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune has determined to continue innovating the content and methods of its activities, focusing strongly on the grassroots level.

In that spirit, the achievements in 2025 will be an important foundation, creating confidence and motivation for the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations of Tan Dien commune to continue striving to excellently fulfill their tasks in 2026 and the following years, contributing to the commune's steady progress on the path of sustainable development.

This helps people gain a deeper understanding of the long-term benefits of reforming the administrative apparatus, thereby building trust and consensus with policies on economic development, anti-corruption, and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model.

One of the highlights is the Fatherland Front's efforts in mobilizing the people to change their production mindset and apply high technology to farming.

The locality has successfully transitioned from inefficient rice cultivation to high-yield rice varieties such as ST25 and purple rice, along with fruit trees like dragon fruit and passion fruit, bringing high economic efficiency. Currently, the area planted with ST25 rice reaches 1,135 hectares with a cumulative production from 2020 to 2025 of 79,450 tons.

Also in 2025, Tan Dien commune launched its 3-star OCOP product "Cherry Jam," demonstrating the potential for developing the local specialty products.

At the same time, the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" movement was also strengthened with the consolidation of 3 Vietnamese product sales points, contributing to promoting local production and consumption.

Leveraging the power of consensus in mobilizing resources, the Fatherland Front of the commune has creatively applied the motto "The people know, the people discuss, the people do, the people inspect, the people supervise, and the people benefit" to build new rural areas. The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has gone into depth, addressing urgent issues of life.

During the period 2020-2025, people donated 36,750 m² of land and contributed 785 man-days of labor to build and repair 38 roads and 5 concrete bridges with a total value of over 32.8 billion VND. The synchronized transportation system has created momentum for trade development, helping to truly transform the appearance of rural areas.

Besides infrastructure, social welfare work has always been carefully taken care of with the spirit of "leaving no one behind". Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front of the commune has mobilized resources to build 39 "Great Solidarity" houses, 2 "Borderland Shelter" houses, and donated nearly 9,000 gifts to the poor.

In 2025 alone, the Fatherland Front mobilized 2,609 gifts worth over 931 million VND for households in difficult circumstances, and also donated over 276 million VND to people affected by natural disasters.

SOCIAL MONITORING AND CRITICISM

Sharing his experience in gathering and mobilizing people from his work at the Hamlet Front Committee, Mr. Vo Van Men, Head of the Kinh Tren Hamlet Front Committee, said: "The role of mass organizations is not only a bridge, but also a driving force to strengthen national unity to implement democracy and build social consensus."

Handing over solidarity houses to disadvantaged families in the area.

In addition to applying and integrating social media platforms such as Facebook and Zalo groups to enhance the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization, mass organizations need to regularly build, strengthen, and improve the quality of their movements and activities to affirm the role, voice, and prestige of these organizations.

"Even the smallest things that benefit the people must be done, like 'a slow but steady rain soaking the earth,' thereby helping people see the benefits and effectiveness that the movements and activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front bring."

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune also pays attention to and effectively carries out social monitoring and criticism.

During the year, the commune coordinated the organization of voter outreach conferences following the sessions of the 10th term of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Council, with the participation of 180 voters. Through these conferences, the contributions and suggestions of voters were promptly addressed and conveyed to the relevant authorities.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune also regularly contributes opinions to draft local development plans, while strengthening efforts to understand public opinion, reflecting the legitimate aspirations of the people, and contributing to consolidating trust and increasing social consensus.

In the context of 2026 being the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, and simultaneously holding elections for National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune identifies this as a very important political task, closely linked to the people's right to self-governance and direct interests.

Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dien commune, said: “The breakthrough solution of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune in the coming time is to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being close to the people, serving the people; strengthening dialogue and listening to the opinions of the people; promoting the role of social supervision and criticism of the Front in election work and the implementation of policies and guidelines in the locality.”

With that spirit, the Fatherland Front of the commune is determined to work together with the Party Committee, the government, and the people to successfully organize the election of National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels.

At the same time, we will continue to strengthen the great national unity, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress right from the early years of the term.”
