Giovani Lo Celso will significantly strengthen Inter Miami. |
According to AS , David Beckham's club wants to sign Lo Celso to strengthen their midfield, and also reunite Argentina's midfield with Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul.
Lo Celso, 29, is under contract with Real Betis until June 2028. He returned to Betis from Tottenham Hotspur in 2024 for €5 million. His performance in the 2025 season was inconsistent due to a muscle injury, resulting in fewer minutes played under manager Manuel Pellegrini.
However, Lo Celso is still young and at a high level compared to the average MLS player. From Real Betis' perspective, the club could consider selling Lo Celso if they receive a reasonable sum, freeing up salary space and allowing them to recruit a new striker.
For Lo Celso, a move to Inter Miami would give him regular playing time, preparing him for the 2026 World Cup. If the deal goes through, Lo Celso would become the eighth Argentinian player at Inter Miami, alongside Messi, De Paul, and other teammates.
