Ultra-slim design - a style breakthrough.
The iPhone 17 Air uses an aluminum-titanium alloy frame, allowing it to achieve an incredibly thin and lightweight design while maintaining durability. The horizontal bar-shaped rear camera module design, similar to the Google Pixel, gives the iPhone product line a fresh new look.
Screen and hardware configuration
The device features a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, uses the new generation A19 chip, combined with 8GB of RAM and Apple's own 5G + Wi-Fi 7 modem processor - optimizing performance and saving energy.
Camera and connectivity
The iPhone 17 Air has a 48MP main camera and a 24MP selfie camera, but it doesn't support a multi-lens camera setup like the Pro models. It has no physical SIM slot, relying entirely on eSIM, and has removed the audio jack and bottom speaker – all to facilitate its ultra-thin design.
Small battery, super fast charging.
With a 2,800 mAh battery, Apple compensates by integrating 50W Qi 2.2 wireless charging technology, supporting the next-generation MagSafe, which significantly shortens charging time.
Release date and price
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to launch alongside other models in September 2025, with a starting price of around $899 - $1,299, possibly matching or even exceeding the Pro line.
