Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, known for his inside sources, has revealed plans for the iPhone over the next two years in his latest report.

Accordingly, the size of Dynamic Island is expected to be significantly reduced on the iPhone 18 launching next year. But by 2027, Apple is reportedly going even further in its efforts to streamline the device.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this iconic smartphone, the rumored iPhone 2027 will feature an ultra-thin curved glass bezel to optimize display space.

Gurman's assessment perfectly matches the information from leaker Majin Bu.

Recently, Majin Bu revealed that the 2027 iPhone has the internal codename "Glasswing" – a reference to the Greta oto butterfly with its unique transparent wings.

Majin Bu further explained: "Apple is planning to completely eliminate the screen bezels and integrate Face ID technology and the front camera directly under the screen."

Furthermore, he expects the 2027 iPhone to offer significantly better battery life to support advanced Apple Intelligence features and 6G connectivity.

If the predictions from Mark Gurman and Majin Bu come true, the 2027 iPhone will certainly be a masterpiece that will make users want to "open their wallets".

However, the use of advanced glass and integrated technology could drive up the price of Apple's special anniversary iPhone.
