According to Barclays analyst Tim Long, if the foldable iPhone is priced at $2,299, it would be nearly double the price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which starts at $1,199.

Previously, according to a report from analyst Ming Chi Kuo, the foldable iPhone model would have an approximately 7.8-inch "unfolded" display inside and a 5.5-inch display outside.
Reportedly, the foldable iPhone will have a thickness of 9 to 9.5mm when folded and 4.5 to 4.8mm when unfolded. It will use a titanium aluminum casing with a hinge made of stainless steel and titanium aluminum. The back will feature a dual camera setup, while the front will have only a single camera.
Ming-Chi Kuo also suggests that the foldable iPhone will eliminate Face ID facial recognition in favor of a side-mounted Touch ID sensor to save internal space. Notably, the device is also considered an AI phone, as the larger screen offers improved AI multitasking capabilities.
The analyst also revealed that the model will launch around the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027 with a price tag of over $2,000.
According to a report from analyst Jeff Pu, Apple will begin mass production of foldable iPhones by the end of 2026.
Pu predicts that iPhone sales prospects in 2025 will not be very promising, due to Apple delaying some personalized Siri features until next year. However, he believes that foldable devices will boost Foxconn's business in 2026.
However, the price of the foldable iPhone is still just an estimate and may change over time.
