The iPhone SE 4, a successor to the iPhone SE 3 (2022), is expected to launch next year, featuring a host of significant improvements to performance and user experience, while maintaining a more accessible price point than higher-end iPhone models.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have the design of the regular iPhone 14, but without the thick bezels and Home button, and with an OLED screen. Not to mention, it might even feature the main camera from the iPhone 15 and the latest chip from the iPhone 16.
But there's even more surprising and potentially exciting news for fans of this budget iPhone line: according to Mactakara, Apple will release a larger-screen, battery-powered version of the iPhone SE 4, similar to the Plus version of the regular iPhone.
This website claims to have 3D-printed models of two iPhone SE 4s in different sizes from an "Alibaba source". One appears to be based on the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, as most leaks suggest, while the second version seems to be inspired by the iPhone 14 Plus.

The actual size of the larger phone is 6.7 inches. Mactakara's sources indicate that, even more surprisingly, the larger-screen version was developed first, with the smaller version added later.
However, this rumor still has some flaws, such as the fact that the iPhone Plus series has not sold well, and this is the first time such news has appeared. One thing that can be confirmed is that the iPhone SE 4 will have the exact same exterior design as the regular iPhone 14, so it will be compatible with accessories from that phone series.
If this rumor is true, a segment of iPhone users might be pleased, as the regular iPhone SE is known for its poor battery life, and a Plus version with a larger battery would likely solve this long-standing problem. Additionally, it would become a viable option for those who prefer larger-screen phones.
