According to recently leaked specifications, the iPhone Ultra will have a very thin design, even thinner than the iPhone Air – a model designed for customers who prioritize aesthetics. However, with such a thin design, Apple doesn't have much internal space, meaning the iPhone Ultra will not be equipped with Face ID.

Interestingly, Apple still decided to integrate a camera control button on this phone. This camera control button will be located on the right side of the iPhone Ultra, likely on the top edge when the phone is open. This is a strange element considering Apple's efforts to make the iPhone Ultra thinner.
Why Apple included a camera control button on the iPhone Ultra.
Apple explains that the addition of a camera control button is intended to make it easier for users to operate with one hand. While many other foldable smartphones require users to hold the phone with both hands when taking photos or videos , Apple wants the iPhone Ultra to allow users to control the camera without having to fold the phone or use both hands. Important actions such as zooming in, zooming out, or taking photos will be performed via this button, similar to regular iPhone models.
In addition to its different approach to photography, Apple has also designed the layout of the iPhone Ultra to be completely different from existing phone models, prompting competitors like Samsung and Huawei to consider producing similar foldable smartphones.
Nevertheless, experts still believe that the success of the iPhone Ultra will depend heavily on how the applications on the device function, something that Apple and software developers will have to work hard on.
