This move comes just weeks after Iran carried out drone and missile attacks targeting locations in the UAE during the Middle East conflict.
Iranian state television and other media outlets quoted officials at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport as saying that the necessary agreements had been finalized to reopen the Tehran-Dubai route at the airport.
On the website of Iran's Sepehran airline, passengers were able to purchase tickets for a flight departing for Dubai at 10:40 AM on June 29th (14:30 Vietnam time).
Earlier this month, in early May, the UAE accused Iran of carrying out multiple missile and drone attacks, causing a fire at a key energy facility. According to the UAE Ministry of Defence , Iran launched a total of four cruise missiles targeting UAE territory. Air defenses successfully intercepted three, while the fourth fell into the sea.
Shortly before that, the UAE also recorded another attack involving drones and missiles within an hour, triggering nationwide air raid sirens. Additionally, Iran was accused of controlling two drones targeting a UAE commercial vessel at sea.
