Today (August 1st), JBL launched the JBL Boombox wifi version, which not only delivers JBL's signature sound via Bluetooth but also elevates the experience with higher sound quality thanks to its brand-new wifi connectivity.
Whether you're indoors or partying outdoors, just relax and let yourself be carried away by the music, as the new Boombox speakers are capable of recognizing your environment and automatically optimizing the sound. Play your favorite tunes from your preferred music player with AirPlay 2, Alexa MRM, and Chromecast, all via Wi-Fi connection.
The JBL Boombox 3 comes in a sleek black design with striking gold accents. 90% of the enclosures of both speakers are made from recycled plastic, and the speaker grilles are made from 100% recycled fabric. Like their predecessors, these new speakers are water and dust resistant.
JBL Boombox 3 WiFi features: Powerful JBL Original Pro sound and clear bass; 3-way speaker system: 1 subwoofer for bass, 2 midrange speakers, and 2 tweeters for high frequencies; WiFi 6 for stable connection and high-quality audio streaming; HD audio performance up to 24bit/96kHz via WiFi; Bluetooth 5.3 (LE Audio available); Dolby Atmos 3D available on the Tidal sub-app within the JBL One app; Automatic sound adjustment; Up to 24 hours of playback time; Supports AirPlay 2, Alexa MRM, and Chromecast built-in; Water and dust resistant with IP67 rating…
To enhance connectivity and features, the JBL One app makes it easy to personalize settings on the JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi. For quick access to your favorite songs, add playlists to the JBL One app and tap the Moment button on the speaker to play music.
“High-quality sound is JBL’s primary goal, but we also recognize the importance of technology and are constantly striving to enhance the experience for our fans. We are now proud to bring significant upgrades in both sound and technology with the launch of the JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi,” said Carsten Olesen, President of Consumer Audio at HARMAN Lifestyle.
