Juventus prepares for "major surgery"

After a disastrous season, Juventus are at a turning point. They need a complete overhaul from the coaching bench to the upper echelons.

Juventus have been a disappointment this season. They were knocked out of the Champions League in the playoffs by PSV, then lost to Empoli (who used a reserve team) in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.

The Italian defensive legend will work closely with sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, while also taking on the role of advisor to the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) that Calvo left behind.

The plan is clear. The trust is well placed. Conte-Pintus-Chiellini, three names that fully combine identity, experience and youth. If Juve can realize this "reconstruction dream", Serie A will witness the return of a force that once dominated Italian football for a decade.
