On December 3rd, Saigontourist Cable Television Company (SCTV) announced the discontinuation of the K+ channel package starting January 1st, 2026.
"According to an announcement from VSTV, the operator of K+ in Vietnam, VSTV has decided to completely cease providing the K+ package from January 1, 2026," SCTV stated.
Therefore, subscribers to the 5-channel K+ package on SCTV will be able to use it until December 31st. After that date, the signal for the 5-channel K+ package will cease, both on SCTV and other platforms.
Regarding Premier League broadcasting rights, the rights holder will announce the information to users as soon as possible.
Established in 2009, K+ made a big impact upon its arrival in Vietnam, providing a pay-TV service with broadcasting rights to top football leagues.
K+ quickly established its position thanks to its exclusive broadcasting rights for the English Premier League - the most exciting football league on the planet.

However, the prevalence of illegal football streaming on online platforms, along with users' copyright infringement habits, has significantly impacted this organization.
Recently, K+ Television abruptly announced the cessation of sales, subscription renewals, and warranty services at K+ Store locations nationwide, effective October 1st.
