"Bạn đời" (Life Partner ) is a song that encapsulates Karik's reflections on "soulmates," on the process of growing up, including accepting the pain and loss of separation as a normal part of life. The music video features GDUCKY, Karik's "student" and the runner-up of the first season of Rap Viet. This is the first collaborative product between the two "teacher and student" after 3 years of working together.
Since the end of Rap Viet Season 1, Karik and GDUCKY, as "teacher and student," have maintained a close relationship both professionally and personally.
Gone are the satirical rap lyrics that delve into the dark sides of love, as seen in his previous works. "Bạn đời" (Life Partner) shows a calm Karik facing reality after having gone through many ups and downs.
The story in the music video goes beyond romantic love, opening up multiple perspectives on the concept of a "life partner."
According to Karik, he composed and developed this song in just two days. This is also a rare musical product where he once again opens up and shares his thoughts on love after two years: "Every time I think about the two words 'life partner,' I unconsciously smile/Because I find these two words more difficult to understand than even land and property matters/I once wanted to be a rapper and become a very different person/But I never thought that one day I would be more afraid of losing you than losing rap/Because my mother said… love may be easy, but it's not easy for you to find a life partner...".

In the music video "Bạn đời" (Life Partner) , everyday, authentic, and even somewhat disheveled images of ordinary people in the city are interwoven, taking viewers and listeners through a range of emotions: some are still searching for their soulmate, some have found one, and some are forced to say goodbye to their loved ones. Immediately after its release (on the evening of October 4th), nearly 2,000 comments shared feelings about "Bạn đời" and about Karik and his students , with many mentioning feelings of "peace," "comfort," and "a gentle music video that nonetheless conveys a message that touches the heart"...
