Despite the large number of people, law enforcement officers were always stationed at various locations to ensure security and guide people in moving around and queuing.

That was the sentiment of many people, from veterans and the elderly to young people and students, when visiting the Vietnam International Defence Exhibition 2024. People also expressed their joy that the Ministry of Defence continued to open the exhibition to the public for another day, until December 23rd.

During the days the exhibition was open to the public, tens of thousands of people, not only from Hanoi but also from many other localities, of all ages and backgrounds, came to visit.

From the Central Highlands, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tam, a veteran of the Central Highlands Army Corps, said that his group of veterans traveled to Hanoi on the opening day to wait for the exhibition to open to the public. The group consists of veterans who fought for many years on the Central Highlands Front; the oldest is over 80, some are wounded, some are exposed to chemical toxins, and despite their poor health, they still made the effort to travel to the capital to attend the exhibition.

Having personally witnessed the modern equipment and weapons manufactured and produced by Vietnamese companies, such as UAVs, robots, ships, and missiles, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tam is very confident that the Vietnamese Fatherland will be firmly protected by our Army.

From the elderly to the young children, everyone was excited.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam, 75 years old, a veteran from Hai Phong city, was very excited about the remarkable growth and maturity of our Army.

Mr. Lam said that visiting the exhibition made him feel confident in Vietnam's military strength and defense potential. He believes that organizing exhibitions like this creates a very good environment for educating about patriotism, instilling love for the country and national pride in the younger generation.

Mr. Lam also expressed his delight that the exhibition attracted a large number of young people, showing that young people are increasingly interested in the fields of national defense, security, and protecting the Fatherland. The exhibition's display areas showcasing the 80-year tradition of the Vietnam People's Army provide an excellent opportunity for young people to learn more about the nation's history in a vivid and easily understandable way.
