Comrade Ho A Tru, Secretary of the village Party branch, happily stated: "Using scaffolding during harvesting not only reduces damage to the trunk and branches, contributing to extending the lifespan of the tea plants, but also reduces the danger to harvesters compared to the traditional method of climbing."
Although it yielded noticeable results, this method initially faced some opposition. Some argued that erecting scaffolding was laborious and required frequent inspection and replacement of bamboo damaged by termites; others were still accustomed to climbing. In response, the Lang Manh village Party branch proactively researched the issue, issued a resolution, and assigned Party committee members and Party members to visit each family to disseminate information, mobilize support, and persuade the villagers. Thanks to this persistent and practical approach, people's awareness gradually improved, creating consensus for implementation.

Residents of Lang Manh village, Son Luong commune, Lao Cai province, erect scaffolding to facilitate the harvesting of Shan Tuyet tea.
The ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees not only produce high-quality tea but also contribute to preserving the ecological environment, creating a foundation for community tourism development. Therefore, preserving and protecting these tea trees serves not only immediate livelihoods but also has long-term significance for future generations. Based on this understanding, the villagers have actively responded to the Party branch's policy, gradually developing safer and more sustainable farming methods.
Lang Manh village is a remote village inhabited by the Mong ethnic minority, facing significant socio -economic challenges. Recognizing its crucial leadership role, the village Party branch has prioritized practical tasks, issuing resolutions and implementing them effectively. Notable achievements include the mobilization of villagers to contribute labor and resources to pave the road from Giang Pang village to Lang Manh village; constructing the Lang Manh bridge over the Hang De Chua stream, connecting the village to the commune center; and gradually eliminating the outdated custom of child marriage and reducing exorbitant dowry demands. Simultaneously, the Party branch actively guides villagers in developing suitable economic models such as cultivating cinnamon, cardamom, and amomum xanthioides, thereby increasing income and improving their material and spiritual lives. These positive changes demonstrate the practical impact of Party branch resolutions when they are formulated realistically and implemented rigorously and comprehensively.
From the experience in Lang Manh village, it is clear that for resolutions to be implemented effectively, each Party member must be truly close to the grassroots, understand the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and at the same time, play a pioneering and exemplary role. Comrade Ho A Tru shared: "Each Party member must do a good job of advising the Party branch on timely solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles, and at the same time be exemplary in implementation so that relatives and villagers trust and follow suit."
The specific and practical approaches in Lang Manh village are vivid evidence of the effectiveness of reforming leadership methods at the grassroots level, contributing to strengthening people's trust and gradually building a prosperous and sustainable life in the highlands.
