Building trust with the people.

The timely acts of kindness by officers and soldiers of the Dong Nai Provincial Police - from rescuing people and salvaging property in the middle of the night during the floods to launching fundraising campaigns, organizing the reception and transportation of relief goods to people in the flooded areas - are spreading beautiful images, creating connections and strengthening people's trust in the force.

Wherever people face difficulties, the police are there.

Recently, many units of the Provincial Police and local police have proactively and closely worked with the people to implement activities to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, improving their safety and living conditions, and spreading the spirit of mutual assistance.

Typically, during the heavy rains on the night of October 10th and the early morning of October 11th, the Minh Duc Commune Police, along with the commune's military forces, local security and order protection forces, and crime prevention clubs, worked through the night to cordon off the area, guide evacuations, salvage property, and guard dangerous zones to ensure the safety of lives and property for the people in the commune. The image of officers and soldiers braving the rain and wading through floodwaters left a deep impression on every local resident.

In addition to rescue efforts, many units also directly participated in helping people repair their houses and clean up the aftermath of the storm so that people could quickly stabilize their lives. The coordinated activities between the Minh Duc Commune Police and the Commune Military Command in re-roofing and repairing houses for affected households significantly reduced the burden on affected families, contributing to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province and the campaign launched by the Provincial Police to support people and officers and soldiers affected by storms and floods, the police in communes and wards throughout the province simultaneously launched fundraising efforts. The money collected from local police departments was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards to be sent to people in flood-affected areas.

Besides ensuring security and order, some professional units of the Provincial Police are implementing effective public relations models combining legal education and social welfare care for the people in the province. For example, recently, the Immigration Management Department, in coordination with the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune, the commune police, and the Hoa Lu International Border Gate Border Guard Post, organized the launch ceremony of the "Border Commune Free from Illegal Immigration" model in Loc Thanh commune. This model aims to leverage the strength of the entire political system, heads of agencies, departments, organizations, Party committees, government, and the people in the fight against illegal immigration. Simultaneously, it closely integrates the mobilization of the masses to build the "All People Protect National Security" movement with economic development in the commune.

According to Nguyen Van Thao, Chairman of the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune: This model will help officials, Party members, and people in the area to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws in general, and laws in the field of immigration and emigration in particular. In addition, the model also contributes to ensuring security and order in the locality.

The "Meal of Compassion" is a humanitarian initiative organized and implemented by the Logistics Department of the Provincial Police at Binh Phuoc General Hospital. The initiative aims to share resources with impoverished patients in disadvantaged and underprivileged areas.

According to the head of the Logistics Department of the Provincial Police, this activity aims to demonstrate the spirit, responsibility, and compassion of police officers and soldiers towards the people during times of difficulty and hardship. This model marks a significant milestone in the journey of sharing love and spreading the image of police officers joining hands with the entire society to support sick people in difficult circumstances.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thi Ninh, Team Leader of the General Affairs Team, Logistics Department, Provincial Police, shared: "Through this activity, patients are not only provided with nutritious meals to support their treatment but also receive dedicated care, knowing that even in their most difficult times, they still receive empathy and love."

Reaching out to people in distress.

In addition to carrying out their duties within the province, when storms and floods occurred in Central and Northern Vietnam, police at all levels in Dong Nai quickly swung into action: from launching fundraising campaigns in communes and wards to receiving, sorting, and transporting relief goods.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, the Provincial Police Department launched a campaign to support the people and officers and soldiers affected by the storms and floods. The campaign received enthusiastic support from the Board of Directors to the leaders, officers, and soldiers of the units under the Provincial Police Department, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual support" and "helping those in need."

Lieutenant Colonel Vo Nhat Hong Phuc, Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order, Provincial Police, said: After about a week since its launch, the donation campaign has spread strongly, attracting a large number of people to participate and directly bring goods to support. Through this campaign, about 30 tons of goods and essential supplies have been delivered to support the northern provinces that suffered heavy damage from storms and floods.

Recent activities of the Dong Nai Provincial Police not only provided timely assistance and support to the people in times of hardship but also contributed to strengthening trust and enhancing the relationship between the police force and the people. To further promote this effectiveness, in the coming time, the Provincial Police will direct police units and localities to continue consolidating and expanding charitable movements throughout the force to spread the social responsibility of the police force.
