In the context of increasing attention to community sports activities as a solution to promote physical and mental health for young people, the FPS Family & Youth Pickleball Cup (FPC) 2026 tournament is organized with the desire to create a meaningful playground for students, parents, and guardians nationwide.
The tournament was organized byFPT PolySchool, in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Support Center, the JOOLA sports brand, and with media sponsorship from the Education and Times Newspaper. The program was implemented simultaneously at 9 FPT PolySchool campuses nationwide, bringing together hundreds of athletes including parents, junior high school students, and FPT PolySchool university students.
For many years, FPT PolySchool has prioritized partnering with parents throughout the educational process. Alongside academic activities, experiences, and skill development, the school continuously seeks new ways to connect with parents and students, creating opportunities for them to participate, experience, and share positive values together.
Pickleball was chosen as the tournament sport due to its popularity, accessibility, and suitability for a wide age range. It combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, requiring minimal physical exertion while still offering competitiveness, agility, and teamwork. Importantly, Pickleball can also serve as a bridge for family members to participate in training, competition, and shared experiences.
Based on that idea, the FPS Family & Youth Pickleball Cup 2026 was designed with three competition categories: doubles for parents from schools, doubles for parents and FPT PolySchool students, and doubles for middle school students. This structure helps to expand participation opportunities for many different groups, while also creating interaction between generations, between families and schools, and between student communities in the local area.
This year's tournament is sponsored by the Vietnam Youth Support Center. Their participation further affirms the social significance of the program in creating healthy and beneficial playgrounds for young people, promoting physical training and the holistic development of the younger generation.

In the context of teenagers spending more and more time on electronic devices, in-person sports activities like the FPS Family & Youth Pickleball Cup not only contribute to improved health but also provide opportunities for them to develop communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and confidence in a real competitive environment. These are also important competencies that modern education aims for alongside specialized knowledge.
In addition, the tournament is sponsored by JOOLA - an international sports brand with many years of experience in the field of Pickleball. JOOLA's participation contributes to improving the professional quality of the tournament, while also providing a professional competition experience for the athletes.

According to the Organizing Committee, the support of partners not only helped to organize the tournament professionally but also demonstrated the joint efforts of many organizations in building a healthy development environment for students and their families. This also proves the growing trend of educational institutions, social organizations, and businesses moving towards community-oriented activities that put learners at the center.
For FPT PolySchool, the FPS Family & Youth Pickleball Cup 2026 is also part of its vision to build a comprehensive educational environment where students not only acquire knowledge but also have the opportunity to develop physically, skillfully, and positively instill life values. Through practical activities such as sports, community experiences, and extracurricular programs, the school aims to create an environment that helps learners develop in a balanced way and be ready to adapt to the demands of modern society.
The development of a healthy young generation doesn't just come from classroom learning, but is also shaped by life experiences, community activities, and the support of family. With this in mind, the FPS Family & Youth Pickleball Cup 2026 is expected to contribute to spreading the positive values of sports, building bonds between family members, and creating more opportunities for students to develop comprehensively, both physically and mentally.
As a training unit under the FPT Group, FPT PolySchool currently has a presence in more than 20 provinces and cities with over 30 campuses nationwide. The school also connects with over 2,000 partner businesses, creating opportunities for students to gain practical experience, internships, and access job opportunities during their studies.
