Opening Ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2025 (Year of the Snake)

On the morning of January 20th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, provincial press agencies, Thanh Hoa Publishing House, and Thanh Hoa City, organized the opening ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Dao Xuan Yen, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with representatives from the leadership of various departments, agencies, and central and local press organizations.

With the theme "Thanh Hoa Journalism Towards the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day," the 2025 Year of the Snake Spring Press Exhibition displays over 350 publications of Tet (Lunar New Year) 2025 and Year of the Snake editions from central press agencies, local Party newspapers nationwide, and spring editions from Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Xu Thanh Magazine, the "Journalist" publication of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, the Thanh Hoa Science Magazine of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Hong Duc University Science Magazine, and the University of Culture, Sports and Tourism Science Magazine.

The Spring Press Festival space also features over 300 representative publications from Thanh Hoa Publishing House; beautiful photos selected from the second "Beauty of Thanh Hoa Journalists" photo contest in 2024; and selected beautiful photos from members of the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association with the theme "Aspiration of Thanh Hoa".

A new feature of this year's Spring Press Festival is that it is being held at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area (Thanh Hoa City), with a highly meaningful exhibition space. In addition, the Organizing Committee has arranged and designed separate exhibition booths for press agencies in the province, adding a highlight to the development and progress of the province's press agencies, under the leadership, attention, and support of the provincial leadership, various levels and sectors, localities, and the large journalistic public.

According to the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, Pham Van Bau, speaking at the opening ceremony, the Spring Press Festival 2025 is not only a meeting place for journalists to exchange ideas about their profession, but also a place where readers can fully appreciate the strong development of press agencies in the province as well as the innovation in the presentation style of each newspaper nationwide. Each Spring and Tet (Lunar New Year) issue is the essence of the press agency, the creativity of journalists, making the picture of Spring even more beautiful and vibrant.

The Spring Press Festival 2025 will take place from January 20th to January 24th, 2025.
