The Giap Thin Spring Fair 2024 is a Cultural - Commercial activity organized by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ) on the occasion of Lunar New Year to strengthen trade promotion activities and promote consumption of products of enterprises and cooperatives in the domestic market.

At the same time, introduce products that meet quality standards, ensuring food safety and hygiene in production, processing, preservation and consumption of products. Promote communication activities for the campaigns "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products", "Vietnamese people are proud to use Vietnamese products"; raise the sense of responsibility of enterprises for the production, processing and consumption of safe agricultural products and food. Introduce, preserve and promote the beauty of traditional Vietnamese culture and cuisine .

With the theme "Spring of the Year of the Dragon - Thousands of Tet gifts" , the Fair has a scale of over 100 standard booths and over 1,000 m2 of exhibition floor with the participation of more than 100 units and enterprises from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management, enterprises, cooperatives, Institutes, Research Centers, agricultural production facilities, handicrafts, traditional craft villages in provinces and cities across the country.

The fair displays, introduces and sells products from more than 20 provinces and cities across the country: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dien Bien, Nghe An, Quang Nam, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Yen Bai, Quang Ngai, Binh Thuan, Thanh Hoa, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Son La, Binh Dinh, Thanh Hoa, ...

With products of clear origin, prestige, food safety control, production according to VietGap, Global Gap standards, products participating in the safe agricultural food supply chain, protected by geographical indications, OCOP certified such as: bamboo shoots, vermicelli, wood ear mushrooms, Northwest forest mushrooms; Nghe An ham; Ha Long squid rolls; agarwood and green lim mushrooms of Quang Nam;...

The fair also displays imported smoked meats, cold cuts and many herbal products, lingzhi tea, ginseng wine, honey, pollen, royal jelly, turmeric powder, black garlic, ginseng, polygonum multiflorum, cordyceps, red apples, essential oils, handicraft products from lacquer, horn, bronze, silk, rattan, fine art wood and household goods.

To ensure the rights and health of consumers, the Organizing Committee tightens input management, requiring products displayed and introduced at the Fair to have a clear and reputable origin, meet food safety standards, meet VietGap, Global Gap standards...; products participate in the safe food and agricultural supply chain; are certified organic, grown in an organic direction and have local OCOP product certification.

In particular, with an area of ​​1,000 m2, the outdoor display floor, which opened on January 25, 2023, will be a place to introduce flowers and ornamental plants that contribute to weaving brilliant colors, bringing spring to everyone, every home such as: yellow apricot, white apricot from Binh Dinh; yellow apricot from Ba Vi, orchids: Da Lat phalaenopsis orchids, Phat Son orchids, wild orchids, sunny dendro orchids, willow flowers, gladiolus, lilies... to serve the needs of playing with flowers and ornamental plants for Tet of people in the capital and neighboring provinces.

The Giap Thin Spring Fair 2024 opens to visitors from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting from January 30 to February 7, 2024 (ie December 20 to 28, Quy Mao year) at the Economic and Trade Fair and Exhibition Area, No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Hanoi. The outdoor flower and ornamental plant booth area opens from 8:00 a.m. on January 25, 2024.
