Opening Ceremony of Hoang Son Village Festival 2026

On April 2nd, at Hoang Son Village Temple (Hoa Lu Ward), Hoang Son Dong and Hoang Son Tay residential groups held the opening ceremony of the 2026 Hoang Son Village Festival.

The ancient village of Hoang Son now belongs to two residential areas, Hoang Son Dong and Hoang Son Tay (Hoa Lu ward). Despite the ups and downs of history, the village has preserved many fine customs and traditions, and a rich cultural identity.

Hoang Son village communal house was recognized by the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province (formerly) as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic, and the village was recognized as a cultural village.

Upholding the traditions and customs of the homeland, the village festival is held every three years, aiming to educate descendants to remember their roots, unite, and work together to build their homeland and country.

To begin the opening ceremony of the Hoang Son Village Festival 2026, Elder Hoang Xuan Khuyen, representing the village's seniors, read the Opening Proclamation. Following this, local leaders and representatives of the Village Festival Organizing Committee officially inaugurated the festival with drums and gongs.

The Hoang Son Village Festival in 2026 attracted a large number of local people and tourists from all over.

The 2026 Hoang Son Village Festival includes many activities: incense offering, traditional palanquin procession, rituals, cultural performances, sports activities, folk games, etc. The festival lasts for two days.
