At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thao Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), emphasized: "Vietnam Day in France" is held with special significance, because Monoprix is not only a famous supermarket chain in France, but also a brand associated with quality, modern urban lifestyle and the mid- to high-end consumer segment.
According to Ms. Hien, this is both a challenge and an opportunity for Vietnamese goods. The challenge is that businesses must meet the highest standards. But the opportunity is huge, because once present on Monoprix shelves, Vietnamese goods will be affirmed in a different position – the position of quality goods, capable of competing in high-end markets.
The Vietnamese business delegation attending the event was large-scale, with nearly 40 units, representing many key and potential export industries such as: Agricultural products and processed foods.
All are produced and processed according to international standards such as GlobalGAP, HACCP, ISO, with clear traceability.
Handicrafts combine the quintessence of traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating products that are both aesthetically pleasing and meet sustainable standards, suitable for the sophisticated tastes of French and European consumers.
Along with that, textiles and consumer goods, which are key export industries of Vietnam, are increasingly focusing on green and circular factors, meeting the trend of environmentally friendly consumption.

Mr. Olivier Langlet, General Director of Central Retail Group Vietnam, shared: “The Vietnam Day event in France marks another important milestone in Central Retail’s long-term commitment “For a more prosperous Vietnam”.
Over the years, the group has cooperated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to successfully organize 7 "Vietnamese Goods Week in Thailand" events.
Central Retail works closely with the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade in a number of trade promotion activities. These joint efforts not only help Vietnamese businesses access new, high-value markets but also contribute to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and France.
