Every month, there's a special day at the Hoai Duc General Hospital grounds where compassionate meals are personally delivered to patients by police officers and market management personnel. Each meal, though simple, is nutritious, hygienic, and safe, demonstrating the thoughtfulness and responsibility of those involved.

The recipients of these free meals are primarily patients in difficult circumstances, elderly people living alone, poor laborers, and relatives who have to stay with patients for extended periods in the hospital. For them, these free meals not only help alleviate the burden of living expenses but also provide immense moral support during these challenging times.
Ms. Nguyen Thi H., a family member of a patient, shared: “My family are all factory workers, and our economic situation is not affluent. Every day we struggle to pay for hospital fees and medicine. Receiving a free meal like this, we are truly touched and grateful.”
The image of police officers and market management officials being approachable and dedicated in handing out meals has left a positive impression on the people, thereby strengthening their trust in the law enforcement forces in the area.
Captain Trinh Thi Hien, an officer of the Hoai Duc Commune Police, said that the "Free Meal" program is maintained on a monthly basis, aiming to spread the spirit of mutual support and promote the qualities of "People's Police - compassionate, responsible, courageous, for the happiness of the people".

“Although the monetary value of each meal is not great, it contains the affection, sharing, and sense of responsibility of the young police officers in the commune towards the people. The smiles and touching words of gratitude from the patients are a source of encouragement for the members to continue maintaining and expanding such meaningful activities in the future,” Captain Trinh Thi Hien shared.
According to Captain Trinh Thi Hien, this is a meaningful charitable activity. The charitable meals not only provide material assistance and support to those in difficult circumstances, but also embody the beautiful traditional values of "mutual support and compassion" of the nation, contributing to giving patients and their families more strength to overcome illness sooner.

All funding for the program was raised through voluntary contributions from officers, soldiers, and philanthropists. As a result, the activity not only provided immediate support but also fostered a spirit of mutual assistance and compassion within the community.
In the coming time, the Hoai Duc Commune Police will continue to coordinate with other units to spread the spirit of mutual support and compassion in the community, to have more practical actions in society, contributing to helping patients fight against disease, increasing their faith and love for life, and joining hands with the community to share with those in difficult circumstances.
In the context of a rapidly developing society, charitable activities like providing free meals, though small, have a significant impact. They represent not only material support but also sharing, faith, and hope. Through these concrete and practical actions, the positive image of the police and market management forces is increasingly being portrayed in the hearts of the people.
