| The market offers a cultural experience with traditional folk games. |
The market brings together many stalls showcasing agricultural products, local cuisine , and distinctive local goods. Besides buying and selling, the organizers also conduct a communication and promotion program for agricultural products with the segment "Flavors of the Village – Warmth from the hands of farmers to the hearts of tourists."
The products were showcased and introduced through livestreaming, interviews, and promotions of three OCOP products, along with many other characteristic agricultural products and traditional products such as Zèng weaving, basket weaving, and highland cuisine. This contributed to increasing the value of agricultural products, expanding the consumer market, and spreading the image of the Khe Tre highland region.
The market space also offers many cultural experiences with six traditional folk games such as bamboo pole jumping, walking on a monkey bridge on dry land, throwing rings onto duck necks, blindfolded ball kicking, throwing balls into a basket, and dart throwing. These activities aim to create a playground for locals and tourists, while contributing to the preservation and promotion of the beautiful traditional culture of the local people.
The market also features cultural performances by clubs, groups, and artisans from within and outside the commune. The program includes various dance, singing, musical theater, ethnic fashion shows, and artistic exchanges showcasing the unique cultural identity of the highlands. Following the performances, there will be a cultural exchange between participating groups, artisans, and the local people.
According to the organizers, the market not only creates opportunities to connect local products with consumers but also contributes to promoting the image of Khe Tre, fostering sustainable consumption, promoting traditional cultural values, and creating momentum for the economic and tourism development associated with local agriculture.
