The opening ceremony took place in a solemn and joyful atmosphere with special artistic performances celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, demonstrating the solidarity and close bond between the military and the people, and welcoming the new year.

The Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration for the military and civilians in Binh Phu commune took place over two days (February 2nd and 3rd, corresponding to the 15th and 16th days of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake) with activities including: cultural and artistic exchanges, sports, display of OCOP products and typical products of the province, exhibition of documents, images, books, newspapers, and magazines, making banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), a cooking competition "Tet Feast," gift giving, free medical examinations, and free medicine distribution…
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Hoa - Provincial Party Committee member, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Military-Civilian Tet Steering Committee - affirmed: The strength of the army comes not only from the leadership of the Party and the administration and management of the State, but also from the solidarity between the army and the people. In the new revolutionary period, the army strengthens the tradition of solidarity and close ties with the people, building a national defense posture linked with a people's security posture, which is a solid foundation in building and protecting the Fatherland.
