At the "Lead the Speed" technology event held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22nd,FPT launched the SpeedX solution, integrating next-generation wireless transmission and connectivity technologies XGS-PON and Wi-Fi 7. FPT's SpeedX Internet solution integrates the most advanced XGS-PON and Wi-Fi 7 technologies currently available. By harnessing the power of XGS-PON technology, this solution provides symmetrical speeds of up to 10Gbps for both upload and download. XGS-PON (X-Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) is a passive fiber optic technology capable of providing 10 Gigabit speeds, utilizing advanced fiber optic infrastructure to deliver symmetrical speeds up to 10Gbps. Compared to the traditional GPON standard, which is limited to 2.5Gbps/1.25Gbps, XGS-PON is many times faster, ready to meet the ever-increasing bandwidth demands of the next 5-10 years.

Meanwhile, Wi-Fi 7 is the latest generation of wireless connectivity, maximizing the performance of XGS-PON. Wi-Fi 7 supports three bands simultaneously (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz), offering speeds 10 times faster than previous generations and 4 times the load capacity. The deployment of the SpeedX Internet solution, integrating both XGS-PON and Wi-Fi 7 technologies, is part of FPT's strategy to upgrade its internet infrastructure and services.

This collaboration is not just a simple upgrade, but a qualitative leap forward. It also represents FPT's concrete step in partnering with the Government in the national digital transformation strategy, aiming for high-speed, secure, and stable broadband infrastructure, helping Vietnam move closer to the goal of gigabit internet access.

Launching the first eSports livestreaming platform made in Vietnam.

Also at the event, FPT officially introduced FangTV, developed by FPT Play, a specialized livestreaming platform for the Gaming and eSports sectors. FangTV is one of the first social networks in Vietnam licensed to operate under Decree 147/2024/ND-CP on the Management, Provision, and Use of Internet Services and Information on the Network.

The launch of FangTV marks FPT Play's pioneering step in building a comprehensive digital ecosystem to serve the growing entertainment and connectivity needs of the domestic gaming and esports community.

FangTV was developed to provide a modern interactive entertainment experience where users can watch top domestic and international eSports tournaments with superior image quality, low latency, and stable service. The platform fully integrates interactive features such as live chat, real-time commentary, and live "fire effects," creating a vibrant atmosphere and connecting viewers with the content.

Sharing his thoughts on the new product, Mr. Pham Thanh Tuan, Chairman and CEO of FPT Play, FPT Group, said: “FangTV is part of FPT Play’s long-term strategy, focusing on three main pillars: mastering technology, developing educational eSports content, and building an integrated digital ecosystem.
