Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16 generation with a series of new upgrades, leaving many users wondering whether to choose the standard or Pro version of the iPhone 16.
In Vietnam, all four versions of the iPhone 16 are available for pre-order starting September 20th and will go on sale from September 27th. So, what are the differences between the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro? Let's find out!
Camera: The biggest difference
A major plus for the iPhone Pro versions is their high-end cameras for video and photography. The dual-camera setup on the iPhone 16 includes a 48MP Fusion camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the iPhone 16 Pro features a 48MP Fusion camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. On the front is a 12MP TrueDepth camera.

In terms of video , the iPhone 16 can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second, in addition to spatial video at 30 frames per second. The iPhone 16 Pro also shoots spatial video, but in 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, giving the iPhone a slo-mo effect.
Therefore, if you want to choose a product to be your primary photography tool, the iPhone 16 Pro is the better choice.
Size, screen, and weight
The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both have a pixel density of 460 ppi and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits.

The iPhone 16 measures 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 170g, while the iPhone 16 Pro measures 149.6 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 199g. The materials also differ; the iPhone 16 uses an aluminum casing, while the iPhone 16 Pro uses a titanium casing.
Both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro feature the Dynamic Island design, an Action button, and a Camera Control button.

The iPhone 16 comes in several color options: Black, Pink, White, Teal, and Sapphire Blue. The iPhone 16 Pro is available in Black, White, Natural Titanium, and Desert Sand. Both models support USB-C charging and lack a fingerprint sensor.
Battery, processor, and software
Apple didn't disclose battery capacity figures but stated that the iPhone 16 offers up to 22 hours of video playback and 18 hours of streaming, while the iPhone 16 Pro offers up to 27 hours of video playback and 22 hours of streaming.

Two devices support 20W wired charging, and MagSafe wireless charging with a maximum power of 25W using a 30W or higher adapter. They also support Qi2 charging up to 15W.
The iPhone 16 is equipped with the standard A18 chip, while the iPhone 16 Pro features the more powerful A18 Pro chip. Both come pre-installed with iOS 18 and support Apple Intelligence.
Price and storage capacity of the device
In the Vietnamese market, the iPhone 16 is priced at VND 22.999 million for the 128GB version, VND 25.999 million for the 256GB version, and VND 31.999 million for the 512GB version. The iPhone 16 Pro is priced at VND 28.999 million for the 128GB version, VND 31.999 million for the 256GB version, VND 34.999 million for the 512GB version, and VND 43.999 million for the 1TB version.
