Opportunity for free cancer screening with leading experts and advanced technology at AIH Hospital.
On March 27, 2025, American International Hospital (AIH) officially launched the program "1,000 free consultations and 12 free surgeries for cancer patients," offering patients the opportunity to receive in-depth examinations and consultations from experienced doctors both domestically and internationally, right here in Vietnam. Committed to providing healthcare services of international standards at reasonable costs, especially in the field of cancer treatment, the Oncology & General Surgery Center at American International Hospital (AIH) not only invests in modern facilities and a leading team of experts but also implements numerous community support programs.

Scheduled to run throughout 2025, the program will provide free consultations and examinations for 1,000 patients with breast, thyroid, lung, and digestive system cancer or suspected cancer. Within the framework of the program, an average of 64 patients will be examined from Monday to Thursday each week at AIH Hospital. Patients will receive health assessments, consultations on appropriate treatment plans, and guidance on the next steps in their treatment process. One of the highlights of the program is the participation of Professor Saijo Yasuo, a leading Japanese expert in cancer treatment with over 40 years of experience. In particular, the program will support 12 cancer patients who are indicated for surgery, providing them with free treatment, helping them access advanced treatment methods without worrying about the cost. If needed, patients can participate in clinical evaluation and research programs at Raffles Hospital Singapore – one of the leading healthcare facilities in the region in the field of cancer treatment.

Professor Saijo Yasuo, with over 40 years of experience treating cancer in Japan, will be directly involved in the program alongside Vietnamese medical experts in conducting examinations.
