The Indian cultural space is built with over 300 books, documents, and numerous images introducing the history, culture, country, and people of India. It is not only a place to display and introduce unique cultural values but also a useful resource, helping officials, students, and a wide range of readers to gain a deeper understanding of India's ancient civilization.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh – Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee – emphasized that Vietnam and India have a long-standing traditional friendship, nurtured over many generations and continuously strengthened and developed in many fields such as politics , culture, education, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
The establishment of the Indian Cultural Space in Lam Dong is a vivid testament to the excellent cooperative relationship between the two countries, and also demonstrates the local government's interest in cultural diplomacy in the context of integration.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue directing the Provincial Library to effectively utilize this space, promoting activities such as book exhibitions, seminars, cultural exchanges and experiences. This will create opportunities for people, especially the younger generation, to easily access and enhance their understanding of the country, its people, and the unique values of India.

Mr. Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, assessed that the Indian Cultural Space is a practical initiative, demonstrating a shared commitment to promoting cultural understanding and knowledge exchange between the two sides.
According to him, this space will become a valuable resource for students, researchers, and readers in Lam Dong province in their studies of India, from its history, traditions, and literature to its contemporary achievements. At the same time, it will also serve as an important foundation to promote deeper cultural exchange, opening up more opportunities for cooperation between Indian organizations and local partners in the future.

Over the years, Lam Dong province has focused on investing in the development of cultural institutions, with the Provincial Library playing a crucial role in building a learning society, raising public awareness, and promoting a reading culture. The inauguration of the Indian Cultural Space is considered a significant milestone in the province's cultural diplomacy activities, contributing to promoting friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and India.
