Survey of 11th and 12th grade students

In order to help students familiarize themselves with and practice for the high school graduation exam, this school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training plans to conduct a citywide survey for 11th and 12th grade students.

Hanoi is surveying 11th and 12th grade students citywide to familiarize them with the high school graduation exam.

In fact, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has been conducting surveys of 12th-grade students citywide for many years now.

For the 2023-2024 school year, the scope of participation will be expanded to include 11th graders – the group of students who will take the high school graduation exam in 2025 – the first graduation exam under the 2018 General Education Program.

According to preliminary statistics, approximately 200,000 11th and 12th grade students across the city are expected to participate in the survey. The survey is tentatively scheduled to be held in March or April 2024.

In the 2022-2023 school year, 12th-grade students in Hanoi took an assessment with a format and time limit similar to the high school graduation exam. Accordingly, students took four tests, including three compulsory subjects (Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language) and one elective subject: Natural Sciences (a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or Social Sciences (a combination of History, Geography, and Civic Education).

According to Vietnamnet, 12th-grade students in the continuing education program take three tests, including two compulsory tests (Mathematics and Literature) and one elective test in either Natural Sciences or Social Sciences.
