Many bright spots

Secretary of the Party Committee of Ba Chuc Commune Pham Minh Hien said that the outstanding mark in the past term was that the socio -economic development continued, and people's lives gradually improved. National target programs were focused on and achieved high efficiency. Infrastructure associated with the construction of civilized urban areas and new rural areas received investment attention; social security policies were well implemented, and the quality of education and training was improved. In addition, people's health care, disease prevention and control were given attention; border security, social order and safety were maintained. Mass mobilization and Party building work changed positively; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization were improved, gradually meeting the requirements in the new situation...

Many targets during the term were achieved and exceeded the resolution. Notably, the agricultural production value reached 163 million VND/ha; the average income per capita reached more than 76.4 million VND/year; the total state budget revenue for 5 years reached more than 151.84 billion VND. Every year, the student mobilization rate reached 99.32%; the number of workers with regular jobs reached 75.01%; the number of trained workers reached 40.2%. Up to now, the poverty rate of the commune has decreased to 2.33%; the number of people participating in health insurance reached 93.97%; the number of Party cells completing their tasks well reached 100%...

“The above results demonstrate the people's trust in the Party and State, the role and responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees; the sense of responsibility, flexibility, boldness and decisiveness of the leaders of the Party Committees... creating a solid foundation for the locality to enter a new era,” said comrade Pham Minh Hien.

Efforts in the new term

From July 1, 2025, Ba Chuc commune was newly established on the basis of merging 3 administrative units: Ba Chuc town, Le Tri commune and Lac Quoi commune. With a space of more than 7,000 hectares and a population of more than 25,600 people, the locality has great potential for developing agriculture, small-scale industry, spiritual tourism , eco-tourism and border trade. However, the merger also poses difficulties in terms of development potential between regions; high rate of poor and near-poor households; unsynchronized technical and social infrastructure...

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trac - Head of the Central Executive Committee of Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association hopes that the new term will have many breakthroughs, bringing the locality to rapid and sustainable development. “I and the people, followers of Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association expect the Party Committee and the government to continue to pay attention, listen and absorb the opinions and feedback of the people. From there, promptly resolve problems at the grassroots level, well implement social security policies; focus on vocational training, create stable jobs for the people; pay attention to religious and ethnic affairs... At the same time, pay more attention and make policies for ethnic minority areas, remote and isolated areas...”, said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trac.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Ba Chuc commune identified 4 breakthroughs in socio-economic development, which are: Breakthrough in trade, service and tourism development; breakthrough in agricultural restructuring; breakthrough in infrastructure investment and urbanization; breakthrough in administrative reform and digital transformation.

Comrade Pham Minh Hien said that the locality focuses on exploiting the potential of cultural, historical and eco-tourism; building OCOP products - accommodation services - craft villages to serve tourists; building the image and tourism brand of Ba Chuc as one of the attractive destinations. At the same time, developing trade and border services.

In addition, promote the development of high-tech agriculture, strengthen regional linkages and linkages between production and consumption of products; improve the quality of crops and livestock; promote collective economic development. Invest in transportation systems, schools, healthcare, clean water, lighting, etc. to create momentum for the development of the whole commune, connecting rural and regional traffic. At the same time, build digital government, promote digital transformation in production, management and service to the people.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Ba Chuc commune strives to collect 244.76 billion VND in state budget revenue in 5 years, with the total average product value increasing by 10%/year. By 2030, the average income per capita will reach 117 million VND; the multidimensional poverty rate will be below 2%; 10/11 schools will meet national standards; the rate of population participating in health insurance will reach 95%. The rate of party members, party organizations, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations completing their tasks well will reach 90% or better; 80 new party members will be admitted...
