Unable to hide his joy, Tai shared: “Three weeks ago, I was at the bottom of the list because my aiming test results were both poor and unstable, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right, sometimes high, sometimes low. Thanks to the attention, guidance, and enthusiastic help from my superiors, combined with my own efforts, I have improved after each practice session.”

After the crisp, accurate shots, Private Y Cho and his teammates in the "extra-curricular shooting training" class organized by the Battalion were overwhelmed with emotion when they were invited by the training ground staff to receive their awards. "Hard practice makes perfect, calloused hands make good shooters", from soldiers with weak shots, with constant effort, hard work and a strong will to improve, the young soldiers passed the first "test" in a spectacular way. The 9s and 10s, the flowers of good shooting, the handshakes of congratulations from the commander will certainly be sweet, unforgettable memories for the young soldiers during their time in the army.

Having lost their parents early and leading a hard-working life, Private Sung A Thu and Trieu Quoc Khanh (Company 10) were quite self-conscious and shy when they first joined the army. With deep sympathy and sharing, the unit's Party Committee and commanders often met, encouraged, and created the best conditions for them to quickly integrate and get used to the collective environment.

Senior Lieutenant Y Thien Mlo, Political Commissar of Company 10, said: “During their studies and work, the two soldiers have always actively self-studied, self-disciplined, strictly followed the regulations and rules, and have been repeatedly commended by the Company during roll calls and weekly reviews. The immediate goal that A Thu and Quoc Khanh are aiming for is to achieve excellent results in the "3 explosions" test. After the new soldier training course, the comrades plan to register for the infantry squad leader training course at the Military School of the Military Region to be able to contribute more to the unit.”

It can be seen that, with the attention, support, and encouragement of the Party Committee and unit commanders, the new soldiers of Battalion 301 have always been mentally secure, united in competition, and determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks. After more than 2 months of military service, everyone is more resilient, confident, progressive, and mature. This is an important first step for the new soldiers of the Battalion to always confidently step on the journey of dedication, commitment, and youth contribution to building and protecting the homeland.
