Unable to hide his joy, Tài shared: “Three weeks ago, I was at the bottom of the class because my aiming test results were both poor and inconsistent, sometimes veering to the left, sometimes to the right, sometimes too high, sometimes too low. Thanks to the attention, guidance, and dedicated support from my superiors, coupled with my own efforts, I have improved after each training session.”

The commander of Battalion 301 presented flowers to the new recruit for his excellent marksmanship.

After the crisp, accurate shots, Private Y Chơ and his comrades in the "extra-curricular shooting training" organized by the Battalion were overwhelmed with emotion when the field officer invited them to receive their awards. "Hard training makes perfect, calloused hands make excellent shooters." From soldiers who were initially weak shooters, with continuous effort, perseverance, and a strong will to improve, these young soldiers spectacularly passed their first "assessment." The scores of 9 and 10, the "excellent shooter" awards, and the congratulatory handshakes from their superiors will surely be sweet, unforgettable memories for these young soldiers during their time in service.

Having lost their parents at a young age and facing a life of hardship and toil, Private Sùng A Thứ and Triệu Quốc Khánh (Company 10) were quite self-conscious and hesitant to interact with their superiors and comrades when they first enlisted. With deep empathy and support, the unit's Party committee and commanders regularly met with them, encouraged them, and provided the best possible conditions for them to quickly integrate and adapt to the collective environment.

First Lieutenant Y Thien Mlo, Political Officer of Company 10, said: “During their training and work, the two soldiers have always been proactive in self-study and self-improvement, strictly adhering to regulations and discipline. They have been commended by the Company many times during weekly roll calls and reviews. The immediate goal that A Thu and Quoc Khanh are aiming for is to achieve excellent results in both the “three explosions” test. After the new recruit training course, they plan to register for the infantry squad leader training course at the Military School of the Military Region so that they can contribute more to the unit.”

It is evident that, with the care, guidance, support, and encouragement from the Party Committee and unit commanders, the new recruits of Battalion 301 have always maintained a positive mindset, fostered unity and competition, and demonstrated determination to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks. After more than two months of military service, everyone is stronger, more confident, more progressive, and more mature. This is an important starting point for the new recruits of the Battalion to confidently move forward on their journey of dedication and contribution, using their youthful energy to build and protect their homeland.
