On January 15th, Package No. 21, part of Component Project 1, the section passing through An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district, began laying the first layer of asphalt.

The project is managed by the Dong Nai Provincial Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor and Lizen Joint Stock Company as the contractor.

Mr. Ninh The Thuong, Deputy Director of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project Management Board, Lizen Joint Stock Company, said that the contractor has currently received 90% of the land and has completed 30% of the contract value. The entire construction work is expected to be completed by July.

The contractor mobilized maximum machinery and manpower to carry out the construction project.

According to the plan, the contractor will complete approximately 1 km of asphalt paving by the end of the month. Package 21, with a length of 10 km, passes through Long Thanh district. Currently, the consortium of contractors has mobilized about 350 personnel and machinery to deploy multiple construction teams for the bridge and road. Besides the section where cement reinforcement has been completed and asphalt paving has begun, in the remaining sections, the contractor is laying the foundation, applying crushed stone base, reinforcing with cement, constructing drainage culverts, and building overpasses.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway is over 54 km long, with the section through Dong Nai province being more than 34 km, and is divided into two component projects. Currently, contractors are mobilizing nearly 600 personnel and machinery to deploy 20 construction teams. For package 21 in particular, the land has been handed over extensively and continuously, allowing for accelerated construction progress.

Component Project 2, spanning 18 km, is managed by Project Management Board 85 of the Ministry of Transport . Currently, over 90% of the land for Component Project 2 has been handed over, including approximately 17 km of continuous land. A representative from Project Management Board 85 stated that Component Project 2 comprises two packages, numbers 9 and 10.

The consortium of contractors mobilized nearly 700 personnel and machinery, deploying more than 50 construction teams, focusing on tasks such as road embankment, crushed stone base laying, and cement reinforcement in some sections.
