Launching the Competition “The Future CEO 2024”

In the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution taking place strongly, the need for talented, creative and highly adaptable young leaders has never been greater. In response to this reality, The Future CEO 2024 Competition (TFC Competition) has officially launched, promising to be a rewarding and challenging playground for young Vietnamese people. The competition is aimed at high school students and college and university students nationwide between the ages of 15 and 22.

The Future CEO is a competition organized by the Vietnam Institute for Practical Technology Research and Application (VIPA Institute). The competition is directed by Ambassador Ngo Quang Xuan - former Ambassador of Vietnam to the United Nations, former Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly. The competition promises to attract the participation of more than 50 universities and high schools nationwide.

With the theme "Leadership 4.0 - Adaptation and Innovation", the TFC 2024 competition aims to find talented young people with innovative thinking, teamwork skills and especially the ability to adapt to the rapid changes of the times. Candidates will go through 3 exciting rounds, including: The Preliminary Round is expected to take place from September 1, 2024 - October 20, 2024, the Semi-final Round is expected to take place from October 28, 2024 - November 3, 2024 online. Finally, the Final Round will take place live in Ho Chi Minh City, expected on November 24, 2024.

The excellent candidates who make it to the Final Round will be divided into teams by the Organizing Committee. Candidates from each team will work together to overcome 04 rounds, including: Round 01 - Question and answer "Leadership knowledge"; Round 02 - Presentation of ideas "Breakthrough creativity"; Round 03: Persuasion - "Leadership power" and Round 04 - Leadership arena - "Intellectual arena".

To ensure compliance with the organization criteria and requirements of the program, the Organizing Committee has considered factors such as: facilities, training quality, reputation and brand of the host unit. Based on these criteria, the Organizing Committee has decided to choose Van Lang University as a co-organizing partner and host of the Final Round of the "The Future CEO 2024" competition. Van Lang University not only fully meets the requirements for facilities for the organization of the competition but also affirms its position as one of the leading universities in training high-quality human resources for the country.

Another special feature of TFC 2024 is the presence of CEOs and leaders from large and branded enterprises and corporations in Vietnam as the competition's Jury. With the spirit of entrepreneurs, rich in practical experience and creativity, CEOs and business leaders will provide fair, practical and useful assessments, while also inspiring leadership to the contestants.

The TFC 2024 competition will attract more than 50 high schools, colleges and universities nationwide to participate.
