Today's weather (December 8th): Cold air mass is beginning to intensify in Southern Vietnam, therefore unseasonal rain will gradually decrease, with many areas experiencing no rain or only scattered, insignificant rain.

Accordingly, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City today will be mostly cloudy with light sunshine and no rain. Meanwhile, in the southern provinces, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas.

The general temperature ranges from a low of 20-24 degrees Celsius to a high of 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Today, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region will experience an intensification of the cold front.

In areas where it is cool in the early morning and at night, there is a possibility of continued fog, with the sky appearing hazy white. This phenomenon is due to the influence of weather patterns and fine dust.

Although this is not a dangerous weather phenomenon, the concentration of PM 2.5 fine dust is many times higher than the permissible limit, leading to poor air quality that is harmful to health.

When going outdoors, people should wear glasses and masks to prevent respiratory illnesses caused by fine dust. While driving, it's important to observe carefully, as thick smog can reduce visibility and affect traffic flow.

Also today, the weather in the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau will have strong northeasterly winds of level 6, gusting to levels 7-8, rough seas, and waves 3-5 meters high.

All vessels operating in these areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds, and high waves.
