I wasn't born during those brutal years of war, but through documentary footage and the stories of those who lived and fought there, I deeply felt the overwhelming joy and elation of the entire nation when the country was completely liberated. It was the joy of reunification of North and South after so many years of separation, the joy of freedom and independence after so much sacrifice and hardship.
Imagine crowds pouring into the streets, waving colorful flags and flowers, radiant smiles on grimy faces, and the tearful embraces of returning sons and daughters. It was an unparalleled joy of victory, the joy of a nation that had fought valiantly to reclaim its sacred sovereignty . The resounding explosions of firecrackers were not only the sound of triumph but also the jubilant cry of a unified nation.
Celebrating 50 years, this joy is not just a memory but also a powerful source of motivation for the present and the future. We are proud of a heroic Vietnam, which has overcome countless challenges to rise strongly. The joy of past victories gives us strength today to build a country that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy.
In the jubilant atmosphere of these historic April days, we feel the joy of our great victory spreading like a warm current through our hearts. It is the joy of peace, of unity, and of a bright future unfolding before us. Let us together cherish and promote these great historical values, so that the joy of victory will forever be a tremendous source of spiritual strength for the Vietnamese nation.
