The training course was taught by Ms. Khong Loan, M.A., former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Vietnam magazine, and part-time lecturer at the Center for Journalism Professional Training, Vietnam Journalists Association.

Feature articles are an important and highly valued journalistic product amidst the trend of news saturation and rapidly changing reading habits. Feature articles are widely produced by Vietnamese media outlets in various formats such as spotlights, investigative reports, longform articles, e-magazines, and mega-stories.

Over two days (September 17-18, 2024), participants were equipped with general knowledge about feature writing; modern feature writing skills; and methods for writing engaging feature articles. Through this training course, reporters and editors will gain valuable knowledge to support their professional work at their newsrooms.
