In recent days, a handwritten letter has been circulating on social media, expressing a wish to support a classmate in particularly difficult circumstances to continue going to school. It is known that the writer of the letter is Tran Bang Nhi, a 7th grade student at Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School (Vu Quang Town, Ha Tinh ).
Bang Nhi and her touching letter have been shared a lot in recent days.
The content of the letter is as follows: "Dear Uncle! I feel like I am a lucky and happy child. I am loved by my parents, studying in an environment with great teachers and friends. I can learn to draw, play the sport that I love. Although my family is not rich, perhaps the good things that my parents have given us. My younger brother said: "Our family is poor but happy, right?", And I suddenly realized that happiness is simple things like that! But uncle! There are friends who do not have that joy. Today I want to share the story of a classmate of mine and hope you can help me!
That friend is Pham Quang Hoai, my classmate. Last year, I came home and asked my mother: "Why do I see my friend is sad? Why does he cry sometimes?" My mother said: "Hoai hasn't lived with me since he was little, and his father is sick. He has been raised by his grandparents since he was little. You guys should help and encourage him."
The handwritten letter was carefully written by Bang Nhi, with beautiful handwriting.
We have been friends for two years now, and our homeroom teacher has been very helpful in our studies. But uncle! Two months ago, his grandfather, who is over 70 years old, got cancer, and things were already difficult, but now they are even more difficult. When his father and grandmother can't do anything, I'm afraid that the hope for the two of them to continue going to school will gradually fade away without anyone to help. I'm very worried about Hoai. She not only needs help mentally but also materially. If you can help, I believe that with your help, Hoai will feel more confident in her studies. I hope you will read my thoughts and I believe you will find a way to help Hoai! Thank you very much!"
Surprised when the content of the letter written by her daughter received much attention and love on social networks, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Hien (Bang Nhi's mother) said: "I did not imagine that the content would spread so much. There were many mixed comments, and as a mother, I was also worried. However, because she does not use social networks and phones, we feel more secure.
Not only excellent in studying, Bang Nhi also has many good talents.
Hoai is a classmate and neighbor of Bang Nhi, so they often play together. Regarding Hoai's situation, the family has 2 siblings, Hoai's older brother is now in 10th grade. Hoai's father has schizophrenia, his mother left him to marry another man a long time ago, the 2 siblings live with their father and grandparents. Their grandfather is a war invalid, their grandmother is old and weak and cannot work, but she has to take care of Hoai and her 3 children.
When he learned about his classmate's difficult situation, Bang Nhi wrote a letter and sent it to an uncle in Hue to ask him to help Hoai continue going to class.
Talking to PV Dan Viet , Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh - Principal of Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School said: "When I knew Bang Nhi's letter was shared a lot on social networks, reading the content of the letter, I was also very moved. Bang Nhi is an excellent student, not only is he good at studying but he also has love, shares, and is willing to help friends and those in difficult circumstances.
Knowing the difficult circumstances of Hoai and his brother, the school always creates conditions and gives priority to gifts for them when there are kind-hearted people who support students in the school."
