After the first four months of 2026, the total state budget revenue managed by Tax Department 3 reached over 402 billion VND, equivalent to 38% of the provincial People's Council's projected target. However, this revenue decreased by approximately 11% compared to the same period in 2025 and was uneven across different tax categories. Two revenue streams experienced significant declines: other budget revenues and land use and lease fees.
According to Mr. Huynh Ba Diep, Deputy Head of Tax Department No. 3 in Lam Dong province, revenue from land use fees and land leases in the area under his unit's management has only reached 34%, lower than the 37% target for the same period in 2025. The main reason is that, to date, the locality has not yet been able to auction off land use rights.

In 2026, the revenue target from land for Tax Department 3 is over 493 billion VND, accounting for over 51% of the total assigned budget revenue. While this revenue source is facing difficulties, the tax authorities and local governments have been focusing on finding solutions to create new revenue sources linked to economic development.
In Ka Đô commune, the locality is facing difficulties because the quota for land-use conversion has been exhausted. The Chairman of the Ka Đô Commune People's Committee, Nguyen Huu Chi, stated: "The locality has petitioned the higher authorities to consider resolving this issue to create conditions for increasing budget revenue."

Meanwhile, many localities are proactively exploiting untapped revenue sources. Mr. Bui Phu Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Hine commune, said that to ensure the economic growth target set for 2026, the locality will focus on collecting land use fees and charges.

"Based on the province's master plan and land use plan, we are focusing on researching land use conversion to attract investors, develop the economy, and generate revenue for the state budget," said Mr. Bui Phu Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ta Hine commune.

To achieve the 2026 budget revenue target, Mr. Huynh Ba Diep, Deputy Head of Tax Department No. 3, said that tax authorities and localities are strengthening coordination and promoting the exploitation of remaining revenue sources.

A notable highlight is that since the beginning of the year, the production and business activities of people and businesses in Tax Sub-district 3 have continued to maintain a fairly strong growth momentum.
Specifically, revenue from non-state-owned industrial, commercial, and service sectors increased by 89% in the first four months of the year compared to the same period in 2025.
To date, the Tax Department at Base 3 has over 12,200 active tax identification numbers, including more than 11,000 business households.
This is considered an important area for localities and tax authorities to strengthen revenue collection, compensate for shortfalls in land-related revenue, and contribute to achieving the 2026 budget revenue target.
