Each outstanding farmer and successful agricultural entrepreneur serves as a shining example, encouraging members and farmers throughout the province to strive for excellence, innovate their thinking, boldly implement new models, and leverage the advantages and value of their land and fields, thereby enriching themselves and their homeland.

There are increasingly more rural millionaires and billionaires.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (Hamlet 2, Thong Nhat Commune, Ha Long City) is one of many exemplary farmers in the locality in terms of agricultural production and business. Nearly a decade ago, she and her husband boldly converted nearly 2 hectares of their family's garden to fruit tree cultivation, combined with digging ponds, raising fish, and breeding turtles. To date, their more than 300 green pomelo trees and nearly 100 guava trees regularly yield harvests, bringing in over 100 million VND annually. Ms. Hue said: "Previously, our family mainly cultivated vegetables, but the income was not high. Thanks to the shift to fruit tree cultivation, the economic value is higher than before, and the market is also stable."
In Cong Hoa commune (Cam Pha city), Mr. Pham Viet Trung is a prime example of a successful farmer in the agricultural production and business sector. Mr. Trung currently owns a facility for growing and processing medicinal herbs (such as *Ba Kich*, *Giao Co Lam*, *Thia Canh*, *Ngai Moi*, *Dang Quy*, etc.) with over 40 regular and seasonal workers. The facility produces 40 products, including 14 OCOP 4-star products and 2 OCOP products nominated for 5-star status; generating revenue of 400-500 million VND per month.
Mr. Trung said: "Recognizing Quang Ninh's potential for developing medicinal plants, I am determined to establish a cultivation area and invest in a processing plant that meets GMP-WHO standards, aiming for commercial production. I am currently collaborating with households and cooperatives to expand the medicinal plant cultivation area to neighboring localities."

The movement of farmers competing in production and business has spread throughout the villages and hamlets of the province. More and more exemplary farmers who dare to think and act are emerging. Not only are they enriching themselves, but they are also helping many rural workers find stable jobs, boosting rural economic development.
A prime example is Mr. Doan Van Chien (Tap Doan village, Thuong Yen Cong commune, Uong Bi city). In 2020, Mr. Chien invested in building a high-tech chicken farm with many modern equipment, such as: cooling systems for summer use, boilers for heating in winter, air circulation fans, disease detection systems, and machines for distributing and delivering feed and water to the chickens... Thanks to the application of technology in farming, the chickens grow and develop well, bringing a considerable income to his family. The farm currently covers 6 hectares, raising nearly 200,000 chickens annually, generating revenue of approximately 6-7 billion VND; creating jobs for 10 local workers with an average salary of over 10 million VND/person/month.

To further spread the movement for sustainable production and business development.
Each year, the province has approximately 60,000 members and farmers registering to participate in the "Excellent Production and Business" emulation movement at all levels. From this movement, an increasing number of millionaire and billionaire farmers are emerging, inspiring the community with their dynamism, creativity, and resilience. Through their production and business models, these farmers have supported job creation, provided seedlings and livestock, transferred scientific knowledge , and offered technical guidance through "hands-on" and "farmer-to-farmer" methods. They have led poor and near-poor households to change their outdated and inefficient farming practices to more advanced methods applying science and technology.
To ensure the movement goes deeper, the Provincial Farmers' Association directs all levels of associations to actively promote and organize members to register for the "Good Production and Business Household" program at all levels according to the criteria; coordinate technology transfer; direct the construction of model projects; organize workshops and conferences to summarize, evaluate, and replicate advanced models; and visit and learn from effective models to apply to production and business in the locality.

Typically, the Co To District Farmers' Association annually organizes study tours for its members and farmers to learn from successful farming practices, such as: visiting and learning about safe vegetable production models in Quang Yen and Dong Trieu towns; whiteleg shrimp farming, fruit tree and ornamental plant cultivation, and pig farming... of successful agricultural households in the province. The Cam Pha City Farmers' Association organizes conferences for experienced members with large-scale farming operations to guide and share experiences in aquaculture with new members.
According to Mr. Do Ngoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, the rural areas of the province still have much room for development with potential and advantages in terms of land and vast fishing grounds. With the experience gained in production and business, along with creativity, diligence, and hard work, it is believed that the province's farmers will continue to succeed on their chosen path, becoming successful and professional farmers, contributing to the realization of the goal of developing modern agriculture, civilized rural areas, and prosperous farmers, building a more prosperous and beautiful Quang Ninh.
