Bringing traditional craft village culture closer to young people.
Driven by the desire to create a bridge between heritage and young people, the "Ancient Arts and Modern Culture" project chooses to utilize board games as an interactive , educational , and entertaining experience.
With content consultation from the Vietnam Handicraft Village Association, the team researched and incorporated various folk cultural materials, stories of handicraft villages, and images of traditional handcrafted products into the game space, thereby giving participants the opportunity to access culture in a visual, lively, and relatable way.

A vivid experience
Here, participants will experience the board game "Monopoly of Traditional Craft Villages," which simulates the challenge of preserving and developing traditional craft villages in a modern context.

Unlike the traditional version, the winning criterion is not based on accumulating wealth, but on the ability to sustainably maintain and develop the craft villages until the end of the game.
Not only attracting students, the experiential space also received attention from many families with young children. Ms. Lan Anh from Hanoi shared after experiencing it with her child: “Last weekend I took my child to the Hanoi Museum for a visit and was quite surprised that she was so enthusiastic about this board game. Through the visual gameplay, the children not only got to have fun but also learned more about traditional Vietnamese crafts. I think this is a great way to bring national culture closer to the younger generation, instead of just through books or dry lessons.”
Beyond just board game experiences, the event also incorporates various interactive areas such as check-in, minigames, product displays, and opportunities to network with the creative team, offering attendees a diverse and enriching journey.

Speaking on behalf of the "Traditional Crafts and Crafts" project, Yen Nhi said: “We hope that board games not only bring joy to players but also help people understand more about the value of traditional craft villages. Sometimes, just remembering the name of a craft village or learning a cultural story after the game is already a success for us.”
With the message "Spread out a mat to admire the landscape, carry your craft on a journey of thousands of miles," the "Wealthy Craft Village" experiential space not only opens up a fresh and closer approach to traditional culture, but also shows the efforts of young people in renewing the way they tell the story of heritage, contributing to arousing the sense of responsibility of the younger generation in the journey of preserving and developing national cultural values.
